Inbounded (2020) is a single player experience, a soft toy about survival affordances. A dream about being in control, but being trapped. You manage the tension between the drive to explore space with the fact that the more you explore the more people appear.
Formally, this digital playground tries to relax the boundaries of mainstream ludic procedural systems. There are no punishments, it has no specific goals, you just get conditioned by the digital environment «natural» laws while toying around. Nevertheless, without being a crunchy (mechanics heavy) experience it attemps to convey a very oppressive aesthetic model.
